I am taking a trip up to Virginia until the 1st of August. Hopefully it will be a time for reflection including some time spend sculpting the future of the company and how it can serve you better.

One is the amazing library systems we can all freely enjoy and the other is the U.S. Small Business Administration. Both of them have been integral factors for me as I continually improve my business.

Small Business Development Center counselors are great. And I have a great one working with me now on an ongoing basis.

Right now I meet almost monthly with a counselor at the branch here in South Florida (the OSBA).

I met with him this past Tuesday and we went through all kinds of points related to my business and goals.

I highly recommend the SBA to all small businesses!

Recently Eagle Land Grace, llc has been receiving business advice from a local branch of the SBA, PBCC’s Office of Small Business Assistance.

The counselors at the OSBA are exceptionally helpful and the company has really benefited from going to them.

The range of advice one can receive from a SBA branch is nearly endless.

Here are some of the things the company is currently receiving help with:

  • Revising the business plan (revised annually)
  • Customer-relationship-management (crm) planning
  • Business tax filing
  • Revising the website development contract

The Service Corps of Retired Executives provides mentorship in-person and online for small businesses.

They are an excellent (and free!) resource for any small business, so we highly recommend them.

Our new online (Ask SCORE) counselor has a background in business systems consulting so we are very excited to be working with him. Hopefully this new relationship will produce even better services for our clients.
